SYNODIPORIA VETERAN CR
Maria's coming in as a Veteran, having been here since just before Questing Country. She's mostly been playing alone with her stuffed lion Sakutaro during liminal spaces, although she's gone to get food from time to time and I'm very happy to handwave her meeting people in the various liminal spaces, with the exception of the first she'd have been in (the dark playground.)
During Questing Country she was the Champion of Witches, a very young Champion who was busy being trained up by her predecessor in the role: Elphaba, the Oracle of Tomes, and so they didn't actually have time to go after the Valence. (In the Waking World she was a nine-year-old human girl named Maria Kaminogi who was being raised by her single father who was often busy but, unlike Rosa Ushiromiya, not abusive.) As Champion of Witches, Maria was bright, friendly, and enthusiastic.
During Lightning Age she was one of Grisha's Wolf's Children. Her name was still Maria, although she didn't have a last name, and she was one of the Children that lived with Grisha. Her mother had been a seamstress in Nova Venezia, from a wealthy family who'd disowned her when she got pregnant out of wedlock, and one of the other Children saw how badly she treated Maria and brought Maria back to the Wolf. As a Child, Maria was sinister, blood-thirsty, and enthusiastic.
People who've known her during Infiltrations might notice that while she speaks perfectly normally in the first person while Infiltrating, she goes back to a sort of cutesy third-person speak when back in Liminal. She is alternately cute and creepy, sometimes switching on a dime, and she has a tendency to make 'uu' noises when excited and has a sinister 'kihihihi' laugh when she's being creepy.
